The SIH audit comprehensively assessed key sustainability aspects, including energy efficiency, waste management, raw material utilization, water conservation, and the implementation of environmental management systems. Through this process, JTS Manufacturing continues to strengthen its foundation toward cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable steel manufacturing.
During the closing session, the Head of BSPJI Surabaya, Ransi Pasae, expressed appreciation for Jatim Taman Steel’s continuous efforts and commitment in advancing green industry practices.
“We see that Jatim Taman Steel continues to grow over time, taking concrete steps toward efficiency and sustainability. We hope this strong collaboration will continue in the future,” he stated.
The Green Industry Standard (SIH) is a strategic initiative by the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia to encourage manufacturing companies to adopt efficient, environmentally responsible, and globally competitive production systems. The implementation of SIH supports industries in reducing environmental impact, conserving energy, and managing resources sustainably.
